The Western Trust Volunteer office recently hosted events to recognise the hard work and dedication of their team of volunteers. The Trust Chair, Dr Tom Frawley and Chief Executive, Neil Guckian, both attended to say ‘Thank You’ to all of our volunteers who so graciously give of their time to support our patients, clients and visitors in so many different roles.
Volunteers enjoyed the opportunity to have a bite to eat and come together with other volunteers from different wards and departments.
Wendy Doherty, Volunteer Coordinator at the Western Trust, commented: ‘We look forward all year to our annual volunteer recognition events.
“These are a small way for us to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers who continue to make a difference each and every day in our Trust. We cannot underestimate the significance of the roles volunteers undertake.
“We want to let volunteers know how much we appreciate all that they do. We, as a team, are truly humbled and honoured to support our volunteers right across our Trust. Thank you!”
