Caoilte

(The teachers are friendly and all the subjects are really good. I prefer PE because I like playing football and we are allowed to play football every week.)

Tá teanga amháin níos mó againn ná mar atá ag gach duine eile. Bíonn sé go hiontach le bheith ar scoil le Gaeilge agus Béarla freisin. Thig liom cuidiu le duine le obair bainte le Gaeilge. Cultúr s’againn atá ann agus tá sé tábhachtach í a choinneáil beo.

(We have one more language than everyone else. It is great to be at school with Irish and English as well. I can help someone to work with Irish. It is our culture and it is important to keep it alive.)

Ba mhaith liom bheith i mo pheileadóir mar is breá liom peil. Beidh sé maith mar ní shílim go bhfuil móran peileadóirí ann le Gaeilge.

(I want to be a footballer because I love football. It will be good because I don't think there are many footballers who speak Irish.)
