Trent Kone-Doherty
Derry's Trent Kone-Doherty has left Liverpool and signed for Norwegian club Molde.
The Norwegian outfit laid out €750,000 for Kone-Doherty's services as part of a four-year deal.
Liverpool have also negotiated buy-back and sell-on clauses which could stand to benefit the club in the future.
The 19-year-old joined the Reds from Derry City in 2022 and featured regularly at U18, U19 and U21 level, and his contract was set to expire in the summer.
The winger also made two first-team appearances, making his debut as a substitute in an FA Cup loss to Plymouth Argyle in February 2025 and coming off the bench against Crystal Palace in a Carabao Cup defeat at Anfield in October.
Molde finished tenth in the Norwegian top flight last season with the 2026 campaign set to get under way in March.
"It is the perfect club for me to come to. I like the project I have been presented with here and I am very excited to get started," Kone-Doherty told Molde's website.
"I am a player who likes to get the fans up from their seats. I always try to express myself on the pitch and be fearless."
