Jamie Dornan said he was ‘lucky to be alive’ after a run-in with a toxic insect in Portugal.
The actor encountered toxic caterpillars during a holiday with friends. Jamie was enjoying himself in Portugal when he started suffering from heart attack symptoms, likely to have been caused by ‘toxic’ caterpillars.
The actor had to be hospitalised.
Jamie was on vacation with Gordon Smart, Good Morning Britain presenter, who also suffered from some of the symptoms.
Speaking on BBC’s The Good, the Bad and the Unexpected, Gordon said: “It turns out we’d brushed up against hairy processionally caterpillars and have been very lucky to come out of that one alive.”
