CILLIAN Murphy is expected to put Tommy Shelby’s flat cap back on as the Peaky Blinders movie is set to start shooting this year.
The creator of the hit series, Steven Knight, has confirmed that he is working on the last of the script.
Something that might be of interest to Cillian Murphy, who had said in a previous interview with Rolling Stone: “If there’s more story there, I’d love to do it.”
Speaking with the Radio Times just before the new year, Steven Knight confirmed: “I’m just working on the final bits of it at the moment. I just sit down at the keyboard and start.”
Knight also revealed: “The plan is to start shooting in the middle of next year.”
Peaky Blinders ended after six seasons. Even though no casting for the movie has been announced just yet, it is expected that Cillian Murphy will return for the big screen.
