Fire brigade issue warning about leaving certain items in direct sunlight as temperatures rise

Homeowners are being warned of the danger of leaving certain objects in the direct line of strong sunlight as temperatures rise. With temperatures of up to 24C today, some household items can pose a serious risk. Crystal mobiles, compressed cans (ex. deodorant or Lynx) and magnifying mirrors can all catch fire or cause an explosion, according to Dublin Fire Brigade If you have any of these items by your window, it's time to get rid of them in case a fire is caused.
