Traffic disruption across Causeway Coast and Glens District on St Patrick’s Day warns PSNI

Traffic disruption across Causeway Coast and Glens District on St Patrick’s Day warns PSNI.

There will be some disruption to traffic across Causeway Coast and Glens District this St Patrick’s Day, Tuesday 17th March, with a number of parades and processions taking place, the PSNI has warned.

Some roads will be temporarily closed with traffic diversions in place during the parade times. Emergency Response vehicles will be facilitated when required.

Route details are as follows:

Rasharkin

Morning Route (1130hrs): Chapel Carpark - Gortahar Road - Main Street - Church Road - Turn at Turnpike - Church Road - Main Street (stop to play at Fullans Shop) - (stop to play at Rogans Shop) - Moneyleck Road (stop to play at Residential Home) - Bridge Street - Gortahar Road - Chapel Carpark.

Evening Route (1800hrs): Turnpike - Church Road - Main Street - Moneyleck Road - Bridge Street - Main Street.

Ballycastle

Route (1300hrs): Leyland Road (Dalriada Lower Car Park) - Coleraine Road - Castle Street - Ann Street - Quay Road - North Street - Entering the Promenade using the entrance beside the Bowling Club.

Dungiven

Route (1400hrs): GAA Club – Garvagh Road – Main Street – Ballyquinn Road – Station Road – New Street – Main Street – Garvagh Road – GAA Club.

Kilrea

Route (1800hrs): Marian Hall - Drumagarner Road - Maghera Street - The Diamond - Coleraine Street - Turn at Craiglea Gardens - Coleraine Street, - The Diamond - Church Street to roundabout and return - The Diamond (stop for a few mins) - Bridge Street - St Conor’s College.

Dunloy

Route (1730hrs): Tullaghans Road, Main Street, turn at the MACE shop, Main Street, Tullaghans Road.

Coleraine

Route (1930hrs): Killowen Orange Hall, Shuttle Hill, Killowen Street, Waterside, Old Bridge, Circular Road, Milburn Road, Union Street, Railway Road, Church Street, The Diamond, Bridge Street, Old Bridge, Waterside, Killowen Street, Shuttle Hill, Killowen Orange Hall.
