The incident took place in the Sackville Street area
Two people arrested by detectives investigating a serious assault in the Sackville Street area of Derry on Friday, 6th September, have been charged.
A 20-year-old woman has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and a 30-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
Both are due to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 11th September.
As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
