Friday afternoon saw the Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Lilian Seenoi Barr, visit Park village to launch an art exhibition showcasing the work of local artists who attend classes at Learmount, Ballymagorry, Artigarvan and Dromboughil under the tutelage of renowned Park artist Sheila Byrne.
Sheila's art groups in Park, Ballymagorry and Artigarvan are supported by the CARE Project (Collective Approach to Rural Exclusion) which aims to reduce social exclusion in the rural Sperrins for the 50+ age group.

The Art exhibition continued at Learmount Resource Centre in the village over the weekend.
