Guildhall

Derry City and Strabane District Council invites singers in the Irish language to apply to perform as part of the Council’s Irish Language Week programme which runs from March 1-17.

This is a great opportunity for new and established artists to showcase their work and to promote awareness of the rich Irish language song tradition in the area.

Singers from all genres of music are welcome to apply, provided that the set is performed in Irish.

The successful applicant will perform a set in Irish on Thursday, March 14 at the Guildhall in Derry as part of the Council’s Irish Language Week programme.

To request an application form, please contact our Irish Language Officer, Erin Hamilton. The deadline for applications is Friday, February 2 at noon.
