Mayor opens book of condolences in memory of Pope Francis in Derry's Guildhall

The public are invited and encouraged to come in and express their condolences and share their memories

A book of condolences is now open in Derry's Guildhall in memory of Pope Francis.

The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane has opened a book of condolences in memory of Pope Francis.

Councillor Lilian Seenoi-Barr announced on Facebook that she has made arrangements for the book of condolences to be opened in the Guildhall from today (Tuesday).

"The public are invited and encouraged to come in and express their condolences and share their memories," she said.

An online book is also set to become available from tomorrow (Wednesday) with more information being shared later, the Mayor added.
