Fermanagh man to face trial on charges of grievous bodily harm

Man returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on 28 charges

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on charges of grievous bodily harm.

William Cuthbertson, 50, of Carrickpolin Road, Brookborough, County Fermanagh, appeared at a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court today. 

He was charged with, on July 29, unlawfully and maliciously causing grevious bodily harm.

It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

Cuthbertson said he did not want to make any statement or call any witnesses at this stage.

He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on January 8 and released on bail.
