Derry's Life After organisation hosting major road safety educational day in Guildhall.
The "Life After" organisation is hosting a major road safety educational day in the City.
The event will take place on Saturday (November 18) in Guildhall Square from 11am to 2pm.
Life After is a charity which has been supporting families and friends bereaved by collisions on the roads since 2017.
Among a host of other activities, as part of Road Safety Saturday, there will be a session aimed at cyclists.
Dr Bike will be in the Guildhall Square on Saturday.
Dr Bike will be there, allowing cyclists to bring their bikes in for an MOT. From 11am to 11.45am there will be a Ditch the Stabilisers workshop; from 12.00 to 12.45pm there will be Children's Cycles Skills; and from 1.00pm to 1.45pm there will be Adult Returners and Beginner session.
In addition, there will be a lorry seat swap, where everyone will get the opportunity to sit in the cab of a lorry and get a lorry drivers view of the road.

As Sunday (November 19) is World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, Life After holding a candlelight vigil on Derry's Walls at 5pm.
Everyone is very welcome to attend.
