Derry man celebrates 80th birthday by giving back to Altnagelvin
Family and friends rally together to raise £1,500 for Altnagelvin Hospital’s Cardiology Department
Derry man David Smyth has generously donated £1,500 to the Cardiology Department at Altnagelvin Hospital following a heartwarming fundraiser for his milestone 80th birthday.
David recently celebrated his 80th birthday and donations in lieu of gifts were requested from family and friends.
A spokesperson for Western Health & Social Care Trust (Western Trust) said: “Sincere thanks to David, and those who gave towards his birthday fundraiser, for the very generous donation. Wishing you a very happy 80th birthday!”
