A range of exciting activities are planned to honour the school’s past, present and future

Cumber Claudy Primary School is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a memorable occasion for pupils, staff and the local community.

The primary school, which opened its doors to pupils in 1994, will mark the milestone occasion with a ‘June Jamboree’ this Friday, June 20.

Taking place in the school, located at Cregg Road, Claudy, a range of exciting activities are planned to honour the school’s past, present and future.

Downtown Country presenter and singer Jason Hughes will provide entertainment at the event, which begins at 6pm.

Celebrating success in Cumber Claudy PS which will mark its 30th anniversary this week.

For the younger kids there will be a bouncy castle, face painting, balloon modelling and many more surprises.

There will also be a chance to ‘soak the teacher’ - sure to be a fun-filled experience for all.

Food trucks which will be there on the evening include K Burgers, All Fired Up Pizza and Mr Whippy’s Ice Cream.

There will also be lots of stalls where many beautiful and unique products can be purchased.

Businesses which will be present on the night include Dainty Dolls, Mollie Duncan (hair bows, vinyl cups and glasses), Tracy Stewart, Andrew Norris 3D Prints, Cosy Crochet, Geraldine Granleese, JH Joinery, Marie with keyrings and bracelets, Angela with scones and jam, Fulton’s Farm, Naomi Watson, Tree Top Tales, Alma Bogle and Derry Square Knitters.

Former pupils, staff and friends are encouraged to come along on the night to reminisce and reunite with old classmates.

Entry to the event will be £5 per child and £3 per adult.
