Joshua Garvie (The Fencing Club) who took first place at the U-17 Irish Epee Youth Series
The Fencing Club, Derry’s leading Épée and Sabre center, is celebrating after club member Joshua Garvie secured the U-17 gold medal at the recent Irish Épée Youth Series in Dublin.
Joshua represented the club last weekend, demonstrating exceptional skill and determination throughout the competition. His victory is a testament to his hard work, focus, and dedication during training sessions at the club.
“Huge congratulations to Joshua Garvie taking home the Gold Medal at the Irish Épée Youth Series in Dublin,” said a spokesperson for The Fencing Club.
“Joshua represented the club at the Irish Epee Youth Series in Dublin, and we couldn't be prouder of his performance.
“Competing in the U-17 category, Joshua showed incredible skill, focus, and determination on the strip, ultimately taking home the first place gold medal!
