Causeway Coast and Glens PSNI have issued an urgent appeal for help following the tehft of a horse box in Derry.

A red and grey Horse Box Trailer is believed to have been stolen from a yard on the Kilrea Road, Garvagh some time between Friday and Saturday afternoon.

The horse box is owned by the Little Red Horsebox Catering Company, who are based in Garvagh and serve coffees and food from the horse box.

In a post online, police said that anyone with information is urged to "contact Police on 101 and use reference 1423 from 26/10/24".

"Alternatively, a report can be made online through the PSNI website, or anonymously through the crimestoppers website or call 0800 555 111," police said.

Many were shocked at the news of the theft in the post online, with one comment saying: "What is wrong with people! Hope you get it back".
