William Albert (Willis) Blair, 32 Moneybrannon Road, Aghadowey

The death has occurred of the late William Albert (Willis) Blair, December 1 2025, at Causeway Hospital, dearly beloved husband of the late Emily, much loved father of Margaret, Albert, Donna and Norman and a dear father-in-law and grandfather. Service at his home, 32 Moneybrannon Road, Aghadowey on Friday at 12noon followed by interment in Churchtown Presbyterian churchyard (Tamlaght O'Crilly). All welcome at his home from Wednesday at 6.00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to N.I. Jean Campbell, 29 Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry

The death has occurred of Jean Campbell, November 29 2025 suddenly at her home, 29 Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry. Beloved wife of the late David. Loving sister of Mary and Sammy and the late Helen and Andy. Pauline Deane (née Morrison), 20 Inch View, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Pauline Deane (née Morrison), November 30 2025, Suddenly at home. Beloved Wife of Sean and Loving Mother of Aaron, Milissa, Conor, Kiera and Natasha. A much loved Grandmother and sister. Funeral from her home, 20 Inch View on Thursday, December 4 at 9:20am to St Eugene's Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on her soul.

 

Samuel (Sammy) Holmes, 14 Dromore Avenue, Limavady

The death has occurred of the late Samuel (Sammy) Holmes, December 2 2025, Suddenly but peacefully at home (in his 95th year) much loved husband of the late Martha, devoted father of Tommy and Ken, loving father-in-law of Joan and Beverley, adored granda of Jonathan, Emma, Aaron (Jessica) and Amyleigh (Darren) and great-granda of Isla and Jax, dearest brother of Pamela, Maureen and Bernie. Funeral leaving his late home, 14 Dromore Avenue, Limavady on Thursday, December 4 at 1.30pm for a Service of Thanksgiving in Ballykelly Presbyterian Church at 2.00pm burial afterwards in the adjoining burial ground. All are welcome to call and pay their respects on Wednesday between 11.00am and 10.00pm. Margaret Johnston (née Laverty), Coleraine

The death has taken place of Margaret Johnston (née Laverty), peacefully at Causeway Hospital. Margaret, dearly loved wife of the late Desmond (Dessie), loving mother of Christopher, Gavin, Aaron, Brandon and the late Ryan, much loved grandmother of Patrick, Luan, Eli, Donovan, Dylan, Daniel, Niamh and Ella, loving sister of Billy, Annette, Sheila and the late Joe and Jimmy. Service of celebration in Killowen Parish Church on Wednesday, December 10 at 11.00am followed by cremation in Antrim & Newtownabbey Crematorium at 2.00pm. Please wear bright colours. Family and friends are welcome to call at Wades Funeral Home during office hours and on Friday from 7.00pm - 9.00pm to pay their respects. Flowers welcome. We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Teresa Kealey (née O’Donnell), peacefully at home on December 2 2025, may she rest in peace. Late of 47 Lackagh Park, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved wife of the late Patrick RIP. Loving mother of Teresa (Terence RIP), Susanne (Sean), Edward (Bridget), Patrick (Bernie), Eugene (Joanne), Seamus (Caroline), Damien (Annemarie) and Sylvia (Eamon). Daughter of the late Hugh and Ann Jane RIP and dear sister of Joe and the late Hugh, Mary, John, Sam, Suzanna, James, Tommy and infant Philomena R.I.P. A devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Reposing at her late home from Wednesday (December 3) wake will commence at 12noon. Family time from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral on Friday, December 5 2025, leaving her late home at 10.10am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Dungiven, interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. It is with deep sorrow and regret that we announce the passing of John Herbert (Bertie) Long, December 2 2025, peacefully at Foyle Hospice (surrounded by his loving family in his 82nd year) much loved dad of Gary, Darren, Kendra, Ryan and Christopher, loving father-in-law of Millie, Carolina, Mark, Alison and Mia, adored granda of Cassandra, Nicole, Vida, Isaac, Karl, Kelsey Erin, Bredin, Jack and the late Jacqueline and ex-wife Joyce. Funeral leaving his late home, 49 Duncastle Park, Newbuildings on Friday, December 5 at 12.15pm followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in Glendermott Parish Church at 1.00pm, burial afterwards in Altnagelvin Cemetery. The death has taken place of Thomas Martin Mallett, December 2 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, loving father of Mandy and the late Thomas and Christopher and a devoted grandfather, dear son of the late Paddy and Martha, cherished brother of Michael, Patsy, Lily, Martha, Marly and Bridge and a loving uncle to all his nephews and nieces. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Thomas will be reposing at his home, 11 Sandale Park. Funeral leaving his home on Thursday, December 4 at 10:20am to St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Rose Teresa (Roisin) McGowan (née Doherty), Derry

The death has occurred of the late Rose Teresa (Roisin) McGowan (née Doherty), December 1 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at Seven Oaks, Care Home, (formerly of Bishop Street and Barrack Street), beloved wife of the late Eddie, loving mother of Moia, John, Eamonn and Roisin, dear mother-in-law to Raymond, Stephen, Bridgeen and Deborah and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, dear daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Doherty, cherished sister of the late Phyllis, Moya, Liam, Seamus, Sean, John-Francis and Mary Bridget and a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Roisin will be reposing at her daughter Moia’s home, 71 Elmvale, Culmore, on Wednesday from 12:00noon to 9:00pm. Funeral leaving 71 Elmvale on Thursday, December 4 at 11:20am to St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower for Requiem Mass at 12:00noon. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
