Michael Joseph Connor, 39 Drumahoe Road, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Michael Joseph Connor, November 29 2024, peacefully at his home, 39 Drumahoe Road, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Eileen. Loving father of Gemma, Sean, Caroline, Karen and Elaine. Father-in-law of Kevin, Siobhan, Nigel, Stephen and Bhavash. A much loved Papa of Connor, Aimee, Emily, Joseph, Benjamin, Jane, Matthew, Daniel, Evie, Tom, John, Jack and Dan, and his great grandson Charlie. Dear brother of Brigid and the late Celine, Jane, Francie, Willie, Malachy, and Felix.bDeeply regretted by all the family circle. Michael's wake will take place in his home on Sinday from 1.00pm to 10.00pm. Funeral from his home on Monday, December 2 at 11.30am for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church Ardmore at 12noon followed by interment in Mullabouy Cemetery, Slaughtmanus Road. Margaret Henrietta Davis (née Tomkins), Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Margaret Henrietta Davis (née Tomkins), November 30 2024, Peacefully at Daleview Care Home, formerly of 26 Laurel Park, Kilfennan and late of Clonevin, Co Wexford, dearly beloved wife of the late William ( Billy) much loved mother of Stephen and Timothy, loving mother-in-law of Mary, adored nana of Peter, Isaiah and Elizabeth, loving sister of Ruth Sutton, and the late John Tomkins, Grace Allen and Hannah McVicker. Funeral leaving D & R Hay & Sons Funeral Home, 24A Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ on Friday, December 6, at 1.30pm followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery, Memorial Service will take place immediately after the committal Service in Faughan Reformed Presbyterian Church at 3.00pm. Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to R. P. Mission Committee or Daleview Comfort Fund, c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director (above address). Family Home Private. Deirdre Doherty, 18 Templeard, Culmore, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Deirdre Doherty, November 29 2024, (formerly of 18 Templeard, Culmore), beloved daughter of Patricia and the late Brian, loving sister of Philip, Shaun, Siobhan and Brian, dear sister-in-law to Jacqueline, Catriona, Mary and the late Tom and a cherished aunt and great-aunt to all her nieces, nephews and grand-nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Funeral arrangements later. Ryan Doherty, Beraghvale Close, Derry

The Death has taken place of Ryan Doherty, late of Beraghvale Close, Derry, beloved son of Brian Doherty and Geraldine O’Neill (née McKeever) and stepson of the late John O’Neill. Much loved brother of Raymond (Laura) and Lynsey (Ryan). Darling daddy of Ryan and Rebecka, adored grandson of Molly McKeever and much loved uncle of Rachael. Ryan will be sadly missed by all his aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends. Deep are the memories, Precious they stay; No passing of time, Will take them away. Ryan will be reposing at his mother’s Geraldine's residence Boyagh, Porthall, Lifford, Donegal, F93 KPK2 from 12.00pm to 9.00pm on Sunday, December 1 and on Monday, December 2 from 12noon to 9.00pm. Morning of the funeral private please to family. Funeral leaving Boyagh, Porthall on Tuesday morning at 9.00am going to St Mary’s Church, Creggan, Derry for 10.00am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the Derry City Cemetery. The death has occurred of the late Margaret Jean Kells, November 29 2024, (peacefully) at Brooklands Nursing Home, Magherafelt, (aged 100 years), formerly of 31 Rockview Park, Moneymore, beloved Sister of the late Jim, Miller, Maud, Sadie, May, Nina, Rosaleen, Andy, Ralph, Bertie and Nora and a much loved Aunt.bAll welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Sunday, December 1 from 4:00pm - 5:30pm.bA Service of Thanksgiving for Jean's Life will take place in First Moneymore Presbyterian Church on Monday, December 2 at 2:00pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. The death has taken place of the late Samuel John Kennedy (Sam) Hyndman, November 30 2024, (suddenly), dearly loved Husband of Moyra, 12 Curragh Road, Maghera, much loved Daddy of Arlene, Stephen and Lorraine, a dear Father-in-Law of Colin and devoted Granda of Megan and Cameron. The death has occurred of the late Edward (Eddie) Thompson, November 29 2024, peacefully at home, beloved husband of Donna, 360 Clooney Road, Ballykelly, loving father of Naomi, Natalie, Laura, Sarah, Emma and the late Amy and Nicole, a much loved father-in-law and grandfather, son of the late John and Emma (Walworth) and dear brother of Joan and the late Jim, Harry, Florie, Isa, Dorothy, Ethel, Jackie and Tommy. His remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Monday at 1.30pm for service in Tamlaghtfinlagan Parish Church, Ballykelly at 2.00pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. The death has occurred of the late James Whitsitt, November 27 2024, peacefully at Edenvale Care Centre, Limavady, beloved husband of the late Kathleen, formerly of Saintfield, Co. Down, loving son of the late Reginald and Christine Whitsitt, dear brother of the late Eleanor and Katherine, brother-in-law of the late Thompson Campbell, a much loved uncle of David and Helena Trafford and great-uncle of Adam.bCremation will take place in Antrim & Newtownabbey Crematorium, 51 Doagh Road, Newtownabbey, on Wednesday, December 4 at 11.00am.
