Maurice Doyle, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Maurice Doyle, peacefully at Edenvale Care Centre on 27th February 2024. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn, Father of Gareth, Papa to Lesley, Richard, William and Caroline and Old Papa to Agnes and Margot. Funeral service will be held in Myroe Presbyterian Church on Thursday at 2.00pm followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired and cheques payable to NI Hospice or Marie Curie Cancer Care and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind. Est. Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Deeply missed by his Friends and entire family circle. House strictly private.

Violet Gallagher (née Kelly), Caw Mews, Derry

The death has taken place of Violet Gallagher (née Kelly), 26th February 2024, peacefully at Deanfield Care Home, (late of Caw Mews, formerly of Buncrana), beloved wife of the late Charlie, loving mother of Bill, Chris, Julie, Kellie, Mark and Tara, and a devoted grandmother, dear daughter of the late Ernest and Annie Kelly, cherished sister of Anna, Jim, Eamon, Paddy, Frank, Lawrence, Eileen, Lily and the late Danny and Tillie and a dear and loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Violet will be reposing at her sister Lily’s home, 21 Farlow Road. Funeral leaving 21 Farlow Road on Thursday, 29th February at 9.20am to Immaculate Conception Church, Trench Road for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.

Rosaleen Kelly (née Cullen), 18 Sandringham Drive, Prehen, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Rosaleen Kelly (née Cullen), 27th February 2024, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, beloved wife of the late Gerry, 18 Sandringham Drive, Prehen, loving mother of Stephen, Michael and Mark, mother-in-law of Christina and Caroline, much loved grandmother of Conor, Caoimhe, Michael, Eimear, Cormac, Orlagh, Aoife and Niamh and dear sister Mary, Adeline, Jim, Patricia, Margaret and the late Nancy and Hugo. Her remains will be reposing in her home from 5 pm on Tuesday. Funeral from there on Thursday at 11.30am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Columb’s Church, Waterside. Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Family flowers only please, but if wished, donations in lieu of flowers to the Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

The death has taken place of May McClay (Hamilton), 26th February 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of Duncastle Road, Newbuildings. Dearly beloved wife of the late Robert. Dawson Scott, Glenshane Road, Claudy

The death has occurred of the late Dawson Scott, 26th February 2024, peacefully at Holywood Care Home. Late of Glenshane Road, Claudy. Beloved brother of Iris and brother in law of Willis. Much loved uncle of Simon, his wife Sharon and their children Rhylan, Ruairi and Darcy Joy. Service in Coleraine Gospel Hall on Thursday, 29th February 2024 at 12noon. Funeral afterwards to Banagher Presbyterian Churchyard at 2.00pm. No Flowers please.
