Dungiven man takes on 26 in 26 in support of Foyle Hospice

Seamus McCloskey celebrates with family after wrapping up half a year of continuous charity work.
Dungiven fundraiser Seamus McCloskey, surrounded by proud family and friends, has officially presented a cheque for £13,709.03 after successfully completing his intensive "26 in 26" charity campaign.
The marathon fundraising effort saw Seamus take on a completely unique and diverse challenge every single week for six consecutive months.
His grueling 26-week itinerary ranged from hosting a community "Big Breakfast" initiative to completing a demanding mountain climb up Mount Errigal in County Donegal.
The incredible five-figure total will be divided equally among four vital regional charities, providing an immediate funding boost to local healthcare, youth support, and emergency rescue teams: Foyle Hospice, S.A.R.D.A. (Search and Rescue Dog Association), Legenderry Relay for Life and Cancer Fund for Children.
The vital funds raised will directly support palliative care, search-and-rescue operations, and therapeutic services for vulnerable families across the region.
