At the outset of this academic year 2025-2026 St. Patrick's College, Dungiven school community is embarking on a fundraising drive to raise money for charities dedicated to supporting those diagnosed with cancer.

The school has been directly affected by this issue in recent years, among staff and the families in the community.

The school has said they would appreciate any support they receive in this endeavour and hope they can provide something positive for everyone affected.
Their first fundraising drive of this school year is a sponsored Half Marathon on Sunday, September 7 in Derry being undertaken by our head of Yrs. 8 & 9, Mrs. McPeake.

Mrs. McPeake is pictured with pupils from her year groups who assisted her fundraising efforts with a non-uniform day and generous donations from family and community members.

Please consider using the & Just Giving link below to make a donation or leave a message of support. All proceeds from this Half Marathon event will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support. https://share.google/hgG1OT95zDceJkK3c
