15th November to 23rd December – the best festive market on the North Coast!

Flowerfield Christmas Craft Market

Products handmade made by Pig and Monkey Mercantile displayed at the Flowerfield Christmas Craft Market in 2024.

The Flowerfield Christmas Craft Market takes place indoors in our atmospheric ground floor galleries in the beautiful Georgian house front of the arts centre looking out across the park.

Applications are now open to professional makers, resident and working within the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough and across Northern Ireland.

The market showcases high quality handmade contemporary crafts and artisan food producers, from ceramics to glass, jewellery design to textiles, woodcraft to handmade decorations, homeware to stocking fillers, prints, knits and paintings.

The primary objective of the market is to support and promote professional makers/creatives whose sole income is from their creative work and applications from new market participants are particularly welcome

This market provides makers with a prime retail space during the busiest shopping season of the year, with no need to manage your stall daily. Simply display your work with individually priced items, and the team at Flowerfield will handle the rest, including sales updates and stock replenishment.

In 2024, the market saw the highest market footfall yet and generated gross sales of over £42,000, the largest turnover to date. We are excited for this year's market, which really has become a Christmas shopping destination.

Local ceramic artist Fiona Shannon, who participated in the 2024 market commented: “Taking part in the Flowerfield Christmas Craft Market last year was a fantastic experience. Not only did I see my work reach a new audiences, but the atmosphere in the galleries was just magical – people were really there to buy unique, handmade gifts.

“The support from the Flowerfield team made it stress-free, and I was delighted the sales during the market – I’ll definitely be applying again this year.”

The market will launch on Saturday 15th November in partnership with Naturally Northco Coast and Glens Artisan Market who will be resident in the auditorium and outdoors terrace.
