The following deaths have occurred:-

Adrian Gallagher, 30 Thorndale, Derry - It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Adrian Gallagher, peacefully at Melmount Manor Care Home, Strabane on October 19 2026. Late of 30 Thorndale, Derry. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Kathleen. Devoted father of Tony, Paul, Adrian, Tina, Gavin and Martin. Dearest father-in-law of Laura, Bróna, Charlie and Eileen. Loving Granda of Molly, Ben, Aoife, Niamh, Róise, Robin, Caoimhe and Aedhan. A much loved brother to all of his brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Adrian will be reposing at his son Paul’s home, 14 Paddock Lane. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday, October 21 at 9:20am for Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown at 10am. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery. Wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am. Adrian’s Requiem Mass can be viewed via Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown webcam. Marie Hunter (née Campbell), 3 Annadale Lane, Limavady (Updated Funeral Arrangements) - The death has taken place of Marie Hunter (née Campbell), October 18 2026, (former proprietor of Stitch & Sew Limavady). Peacefully at her home: 3 Annadale Lane, Limavady, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Morice (Johnny). Loving mother of Paula (Martin), and Bob (Lisa). Mary McIvor (née Boyce), Derry - It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Mary McIvor (née Boyce), October 18 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, (formerly of 253 Carnhill), beloved wife of the late Gerald (Gerry), loving mother of Gerry, Kay and Roisin, devoted grandmother to Ciara, Aoife and Niamh and great-grandmother of Sophie, dear daughter of the late Mandy and Mary, cherished sister of Manus, Nora, Peggy and the late Barney, Martina, Bridget and Jimmy and mother-in-law to Gabriel and Patrick. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Mary will be reposing at her daughter Roisin’s home, 42 Sandbank Park. Family time from 9:00pm to 12:00noon. Funeral leaving her daughter’s on Wednesday, October 21 at 9:20am to St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. John McKeagney, Swatragh - The death has occurred of the late John McKeagney (Swatragh), October 17 2026, peacefully at the Macmillan Unit Antrim Area Hospital. John, loving father of Aster, Rumer and Taita and grandfather of AJ, Elliot and Leo. Son of the late John and Eileen and brother of Imelda Convery, Frances (James Grant), Thomas (Anne), Catherine (Ronan Bradley), Joanne (Mickey Conway), James (Kerrie), Aisling (Shane McCartney) and the late Peter (Edel). A private cremation will follow at a later date as per John’s request. Nigel Semple, 71 Lodge Road, Coleraine - The death has taken place of Nigel Semple, October 17 2026, peacefully at home, 71 Lodge Road, Coleraine. Dearly loved husband of Anne, loving father of Bryan and Gillian, father-in-law of Sue and Mark, much loved grandfather of Rebecca, Hannah, Michael and Peter and dear brother of Robin and the late Mabel.
