Black Jackals MC to host cross-border weekend fundraiser in aid of Friends of Inishowen Hospice.

Members of Black Jackals MC Derry are gearing up for a charity motorcycle run across Inishowen later this month in support of a local cancer service, with organisers encouraging bikers and members of the public to come along and support the fundraising effort.

The charity run will take place on Saturday, June 20, with participants gathering at Doherty’s Café, Whitehouse, before departing at 12 noon.

Money raised from the event will go towards Friends of Inishowen Hospice, a voluntary group set up to help provide support to those with cancer in Inishowen.

It will be the fourth such event in support of the Inishowen Hospice.

Riders will travel through Buncrana, Carndonagh, and Moville, where street collections will be held in each town to raise funds for the Carndonagh-based charity.

Organisers say the event is aimed at bringing the local community together while supporting the valuable work carried out by the Friends of Inishowen group.

Following the run, participants and supporters will be welcomed to the Outlaws MC Clubhouse in Muff for refreshments, including tea, coffee, buns, and scones.

The fundraising activities will continue into the evening with an after-run party beginning at 9pm in Derry. Entertainment will include games such as darts and pool, along with raffles, live music, and hot food.

A £10 entry fee per bike will apply for the motorcycle run, with all proceeds going towards the Friends of Inishowen.

Organisers have stressed that everyone is welcome to attend and support the day’s fundraising efforts.
