WATCH: New film captures magic of Féile's Bealtaine event in Creggan

Féile’s first Bealtaine event took place on Wednesday, 3rd May.

As part of Féile's Communities In Transition project, funded by The Executive Office, Féile worked with schools, sports clubs, youth clubs and community organisations across Creggan to produce Bealtaine, a new cultural festival for the area.

The streets of Creggan were filled with colour and noise as over 1000 people of all ages made their way round the streets of the estate in a carnival parade, before ending up at Greenwalk for the fire finale which saw a willow structure constructed by local young people, The Cauldron of Plenty, containing the hopes/dreams and wishes residents, set ablaze.

Féile's videographer, Ruairi Campbell, captured the build up to the event and the magic around the event and documented it in this beautiful video.
