Derry man returned for trial on series of drug charges

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of drug charges. 
Daniel Patrick Lynch (21) of Clonmeen Drive in Derry appeared at a Preliminary Enquiry at the local Magistrates' Court today. 
He was charged with two counts of possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply on September 5, 2023.
He was also charged with possessing the drugs on tge same date.
Lynch was further charged with being concerned in the supply of class B drugs on dates between June 1, 2022 and September 5, 2023.
He was also charged with possessing criminal property namely cash and transferring criminal property on the same dates.
It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions. 
Lynch said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage. 
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on May 18 and released on bail.
