Derry group protest outside the court house calling for stronger sentences to drug dealers

A local Derry group protested outside the Court House to bring about stronger sentencing to drug dealers.

The group was led by Pauline Duddy, who lost her daughter, Jasmine, in February 2023 after she took drugs.

Pauline has set up an online petition as she wants judges to enforce stronger sentences to those supplying and selling drugs.

Pauline believes the current system is failing the people of Northern Ireland, particularly the youth.

She wishes to see more help starting with a detox centre in Derry and more across Northern Ireland.
