Brooke Scullion took time out of her busy Dancing with the Stars schedule to return to her roots and visit her old schools in County Derry today.
She made a visit to St Mary’s Primary School in Bellaghy and St Patrick’s College in Maghera where she was given a hero's welcome.
At St Mary's she was greeted by a sign that said 'Broski to win', a reference to Brooke and her dance partner Robert Rowinski chosen name for their team.
She then entered the school’s hall where she was met by dozens of pupils singing her Eurovision song 'that's rich'
St Patrick's College, Maghera posted about the excitement to see Brooke return to the school.
“The College welcomed past pupil, Brooke Scullion and her dance partner, Robert Rowinski to the school this morning before they head off to the next edition of ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
“It is absolutely brilliant to see Brooke and Robert in the school and we would like to wish them both all the best this weekend,” they wrote.
They also made sure to remind everyone to tune in and vote for team Broski this Sunday evening.
In a video posted to Brooke's social media, Robert, who is from Poland, admitted he was having a difficult time understanding the locals during his visit.
Brooke begins the video saying: “We are on tour today. We're in the North...” and Robert cuts her off to emphasise 'very North' before joking 'I try to understand even one word here'.
Brooke's schedule will be jam-packed this week as she looks to continue her momentum as the frontrunner on Dancing with the Stars.
It is Orchestra Week this week and team Broski will be performing to an RTE Concert Orchestra rendition of Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill.
