IN PICTURES: Lincoln Courts Youth & Community Association enjoy a packed festive calendar

Derry community comes together for a diverse programme of festive trips, creative workshops and holiday celebrations to deliver a magical festive season for residents of all ages

The Lincoln Courts Youth & Community Association (LCYCA) announced the successful conclusion of its extensive Christmas events programme, bringing a series of vibrant activities and community spirit to local residents of all ages. The initiative fostered connectivity and joy throughout the festive season, thanks to dedicated community involvement and generous support from local partners and funders.

The diverse programme featured a range of activities designed for everyone in the community: Christmas Shopping trip to Cookstown; Family Trip to Winter Wonderland; Santa's grotto - Held jointly with Clooney Estate Residents Association; Christmas  Teddy Bear Workshop; Christmas- Arts & Crafts; Christmas Jo Jingles; Christmas Art Attack; and Community Christmas Dinner.

The Lincoln Courts Youth & Community Association extends its heartfelt appreciation to the following facilitators for hosting and making specific events possible: Todd's Leap Activity Centre - Winter Wonderland; Walsh Hotel - Maghera - shopping trip; Glendermott CC - Hosts for Santa's Grotto; and Mavericks Restaurant Drumahoe - Community Christmas dinner. The association also wishes to thank the National Lottery Community Fund, Ark Housing, Apex Housing for assistance with all programmes.
