Schools in Derry got to visit the Department for the Economy’s GeoEnergy NI interactive mobile discovery centre last week for a fascinating information day.

The event was hosted by St Brigid’s College Derry and students and teachers from Bunscoil Cholmcille School, Gaelscoil Eadain Mhoir, St Patricks Primary School, St Therese’s Primary School and Steelstown Primary School were also welcomed along to learn more from the GeoEnergy Discovery Centre.

The mobile discovery centre is designed to help visitors learn more about geothermal energy and to "discover the heat beneath their feet". See here for photos of the fantastic event.
