IN PICTURES: Spooktacular Hallowe’en Children’s Jumping Clay workshop in Swatragh

The workshop was made possible due to funding awarded to the women’s group by local Carnglen Credit Union in Maghera

Granaghan and District Women's Group in Swatragh organised another hugely enjoyable Jumping Clay workshop, last Saturday afternoon, October 25. A mix of boys and girls, under the expert guidance of Pauline Walsh and her helper Connie all created a fabulous Hallowe’en model.

The workshop was made possible due to funding awarded to the women’s group by local Carnglen Credit Union in Maghera and GDWG was delighted that Michelle from Carnglen CU was there to present the cheque.

The children were also treated to treats and drinks and fresh fruit.

The local women's group would like to acknowledge funding from Carnglen C U which made this spooktacular session possible and also thank committee members Roisin, Ann, Annie, Deirdre and Noelle and mums Sarah, Niamh, dad James and Paula who all stayed to help out on the day.

The children had an amazing afternoon and were a joy to work with.

Happy Hallowe’en everybody!
