Niall Murphy (Independent)
A podcaster who has previously worked in community development, Dungiven man Niall Murphy is somewhat of a wildcard for May 5.
He told the County Derry Post earlier this year that he had always maintained an interest in politics and had entered the arena on the advice of his late father, Andy.
Having previously thought about running in 2017, this time round he has thrown his hat in the ring, promising 'a lot of talking' during his campaign.
