Derry DJs swap decks for film sets to promote massive 90s rave reunion

Local collective goes cinematic with "Reminisce – House Party" short film ahead of highly anticipated return to Sandinos

Derry DJs swap decks for film sets to promote massive 90s rave reunion

A group of Derry DJs and lifelong friends are redefining event promotion with the release of a professionally scripted short film to launch their upcoming old-school house music night, Reminisce - The Anthems 2026.

The film, titled "Reminisce - House Party," draws on the collective’s authentic lived experiences from the 1990s rave scene.

Moving beyond traditional digital graphics, the group has produced a nostalgic, humorous, and storytelling-driven video that captures the spirit of a generation defined by "poster wars," flyer drops, and word-of-mouth club culture.

The production serves as the primary promotion for their next major event at the iconic Sandinos on Saturday, March 28 2026.

It follows the overwhelming success of their debut night, "Reminisce - The Classics," which saw over 350 revellers pack the venue in late 2025.

The Reminisce concept was born when the group, all heavily involved in the 90s DJ circuit, reconnected after nearly 30 years. Their mission is to bring the authentic energy of 90s house and dance anthems back to the Derry nightlife scene, bridging the gap between those who lived it and a new generation of fans.

Tickets are expected to sell out quickly following the success of their previous launch. For tickets and more information, visit Skiddle.
