The Bentley Group has released its first ever Christmas Special, a short community film featuring a host of familiar Derry personalities gathered around one table to raise awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Filmed inside The Bentley Group’s venues and created by Nathan Edgar and Sean Rice, the festive short captures the warmth, humour, and heart of the local community.
The film brings together a remarkable lineup of household names including: James McClean, Diona Doherty (Blue Lights actress and comedian), Dana (Eurovision winner), Damian McGinty (Lead vocalist of Celtic Thunder, Glee star), Mickey Duffy and Ben Doherty (Derry City FC), Jenny Baird (Big Brother finalist), Lavengro (Local pop band), Conka McBride (Entertainer), Elaine Maxwell (Public figure), Ruairí McSorley (Viral sensation ‘Frostbit’ phrase), Pat Ramsey (Former MLA and Mayor), Micky Doherty – (Entertainer), Daryl Gurney – (PDC World Cup of Darts winner, Superchin); Ferry Clever and local comedians, including Caothan McBride and Max Roddy.
This year, The Bentley Group is raising awareness and funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, with donation buckets available throughout December at all six Bentley Group venues across Derry.
The Christmas Special celebrates the idea of unity, local spirit and kindness, bringing well-known faces together at one table to highlight the importance of community support and the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Nathan Edgar, Digital Manager for The Bentley Group, said: “At The Bentley Group, we’re proud long-term supporters of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. We wanted to do something a bit different this year for our Christmas Special, and thought there was no better way to raise awareness than by bringing everyone together around one table.
“It was great fun to film – although with everyone’s busy schedules, it was definitely a challenge to orchestrate - but everyone was so generous with their time.”
