After more than 25 years of enchanting audiences across the UK and Europe Kiki Dee and Carmelo Luggeri come to Derry this Friday (November 21 2025) for one of their final Irish performances before Kiki’s planned retirement in 2025. The concert, part of 'The Long Ride Home Final Irish Tour' will take place at the Carlisle Road Methodist Church.
Celebrated for their spellbinding acoustic performances, Kiki and Carmelo bring a rare intimacy to the stage. Their shows blend Kiki’s unmistakable voice with Carmelo’s masterful guitar work, stripping songs to their purest, most heartfelt form.
The setlist will feature a moving mix of new material from their critically acclaimed 2022 album, The Long Ride Home, beloved covers of artists such as Kate Bush and Leonard Cohen, and Kiki’s timeless classics including “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” “I Got The Music In Me,” “Loving & Free,” and “Amoureuse.”
Kiki Dee’s extraordinary musical journey spans over six decades, including being the first British artist signed to Motown Records and collaborations with legends like Elton John. Her partnership with Carmelo Luggeri, which began in 1994, has carved a unique space in acoustic music.
'The Long Ride Home' tour is both a celebration of a lifetime in music and a final opportunity for Irish audiences to experience the unique chemistry and creativity of two exceptional musicians.
Due to the intimate nature of these concerts, tickets are strictly limited.
Tickets for Friday's performance at Carlisle Road Methodist Church are available to book at www.musiccapital.org.
Doors open at 6.45pm, with the show commencing at 7.30pm.
