Holy Child Primary School will hold their second annual summer fair on Friday, June 7 in the grounds of St. Cecilia’s Playing Pitches on Fanad Drive, Creggan.
Following on from the huge success of last year’s event, school principal, Mrs. Pat Concannon is calling on all parents, and indeed those across the city, to come out and show their support on the day.
‘We would love to see everyone of all ages come along to what will be a fun-filled two hours of activities for all to enjoy. Again, our staff have pulled out all the stops in making sure everything will go to plan and we are hoping the weather plays its part too.’
The fair will run from 5.00-7.00pm and just some of the events include a ricket wheel compered by Creggan’s own Elaine Maxwell; bouncy castles; mini golf; BBQ party; rickety wheel; arts and crafts; a tuck shop, bottle stand and live music with various artistes including Aoibhe Logue.
Putting out a call for help, the Creggan Principal appealed for anyone who can donate to the Summer Fair.
‘We would be delighted to receive vouchers, bottles of any kind, cakes and biscuits, books and even jumble sale items – all greatly accepted,’ concluded Mrs. Concannon.
To donate, just contact the school on 02871 261263 and speak to Catherine.
