Girl Power has taken over at Brian Ogs (Steelstown) GAC in Derry city where the minor girls football team has joined the club’s senior ladies in the battle for Ulster glory. The minors won the Derry county title at the weekend by defeating Ballymaguigan in Ballerin, the Ballyarnett girls turning on the power in the second half to earn a comfortable win on a scoreline 3-13 to 1-07. Meanwhile, the senior ladies put in a fantastic performance in an Ulster preliminary round tie to beat Mullaghbawn 1-09 to 1-06 in Armagh. They now meet Trillick from Tyrone in the next round.
