Scotstown advanced to another Ulster final with victory over Newbridge in Sunday’s refixed semi-final.
The Monaghan champions were winners on penalties thanks to a Rory Beggan save and brothers Darren and Kieran Hughes nailing their last kicks.
Scotstown went 2-14 to 1-9 ahead through Tommy Mallen’s goal but a goal from Conor Doherty in the 58th minute, in an unanswered 1-5 salvo pulled the ‘bride back from the brink of defeat.

The Oriel side had the breeze in the first half and made it count to lead by nine points by the break.
Sean Young hit the first score with a point in an exciting opening minute but it was a long kick-out from Rory Beggan to Kieran Hughes that send the tone leading Micheál McCarville’s goal.
Points from Tommy Mallen, Francis and Mattie Maguire had David McCague]s side 1-5 to 0-3 ahead midway through the half.
Newbridge got a lifeline when Sean Young brilliantly made a goal for Patrick McMullan to make it a two point game, 1-5 to 1-3.
The Scotstown press on kick-outs and Newbridge’s attacks failing led to a controlled spell.
Two pointers from McCarville and Beggan helped open a 1-13 to 1-4 interval lead.
Eamon Young and Darren Hughes exchanged points but Scotstown remained on top in the first five minutes after the break.
Oisin Doherty and Conor McAteer two-pointers was exactly what Newbridge needed to leave five between the teams.

The game turned again with a palmed Tommy Mallen goal for a 2-14 to 1-9 lead after 45 minutes before he added a point.
Conor Doherty’s 58th minute goal helped Newbridge on their way back into the game before Sean Young (two pointer) and Conor McAteer forced extra-time.
Oisin Doherty and Rory Beggan kicked two pointers but the sides were then level at half-time in extra-time, 2-19 each.
Jack McCarron lookee like he had kicked Scotstown to victoty but Conor McAteer levelled again to force it to penalties.
Scotstown will be back in Armagh on Saturday week (December 13) to face Kilcoo in the decider.
