Claudy's Callum Devine will go from winning the prestigious Irish Tarmac Rally Championship for the second time to chasing FIA European Rally Championship success for Team MRF Tyres.

The one-time ERC podium finisher, who put the 2025 Irish Tarmac crown beyond doubt with victory on last weekend’s Ulster Rally, will contest next week’s JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion in a Škoda Fabia RS supported by MRF Tyres and co-driven by ERC rookie Niall Burns.

Devine said: “I am delighted with this opportunity and thank Team MRF Tyres for selecting me for this FIA European Rally Championship outing. Of course, I will need to adapt quickly to the MRF Tyres, which I have never used before, but the goal is to support the team in the chase for the Teams’ title, and we will give our best to achieve that.”

After scoring an ERC podium on his fourth start in Hungary in 2019, Devine became a regular in the championship between 2020 and 2021. He returned to ERC duty for last season’s JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion and impressed by finishing fifth overall.
