Peadar Pio Ó Duibhne
Peadar Pio was selected as number 13 on the Future Stars panel and there is little doubt that the award is well deserved in his case.
Peadar Pio is an extremely dangerous forward who is constantly improving his game and pushing boundaries on the pitch. A ripple of excitement could be felt among the spectators when the sliotar comes into Peadar Pio’s hand and most of the back lines found him very difficult to contain.
Peadar Pio is a member of the Derry Minor team and he is gaining lots of game time, match experience and is taking all opportunities to improve his playing ability.
Peadar Pio got a great and very important goal in the final of the Casement Cup last year which kept GCD in the game and tightened our grip on the cup. He has, without doubt, been awarded a much deserved Future Star this year.
