‘Glory Days’! Irish girl steals the show at Springsteen gig in London

WHILE the Limerick hurlers were bossing it in Croke Park against Galway, Ballyclough native, Sophie Gleeson lit up the big screen at Bruce Springsteen's show in Hyde Park, in London.

Rocking a No 4 jersey in support of her favourite player, Barry Nash, the Springsteen fan, with smartphone in hand, kept an eye on both the stage and sliotar.

The concert camera seemed to like the green jersey as Sophie appeared on the big screen several times, with sparkly eyes and a big smile.

Quite the joyful weekend for Sophie, who got to cheer on Limerick's hurling heroes and hear her favourite song, Born to Run, live.
