Racecourse owner JP McManus celebrated his third Randox Aintree Grand National success on Saturday when I Am Maximus won the world's most famous steeplechase in Liverpool.
The winner was ridden to success by Paul Townend and is trained by Willie Mullins.
I am Maximus, the 7-1 joint favourite, surged ahead in the closing stages with fellow Irish-trained runners Delta Work finishing second, Minella Indo third and Galvin fourth.
