Met Éireann has warned of flooding tonight and tomorrow for Waterford as it issued a Status Yellow rain warning for the entire country.
The warning comes into effect at 3am and will last until 8pm tomorrow night.#
There is a risk of flooding throughout Monday as weather is set to worsen in Munster.
Met Éireann forecasts: "Wet and breezy weather will push up from the southwest overnight with freshening southeasterly winds.
"The rain will turn heavy or thundery in places later with flooding in places expected"
It also predicted, a wet start to Monday with "widespread falls of heavy rain and fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds".
"Outbreaks of rain will continue across most places into the afternoon with further flooding expected.
"While a gradual clearance will develop in the southwest and west, heavy showers will follow the rain," Met Éirean forecast.
Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees are forecast.
