ALERT: Common household item recalled due to 'risk of strangulation'

Customers should stop using the product immediately and return it to any of The Range stores for a full refund.

A safety risk reported to the competition and consumer protection commission has resulted in The Range, a chain of stores in the UK and Ireland that sells everyday essentials, having to recall a common household item.

The item in question is a penguin shaped cushion. A safety issue was identified as the red scarf worn by the penguin is longer than safety guidelines and can pose a risk of strangulation.

The bar code of this item is 98281923, with the batch number being 53324.
