The Shannon based rescue 115 attended the scene
A MAN has died following a tragic accident in West Clare.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a tragic accident at Kilkee Cliff Walk in Co Clare this Wednesday afternoon.
According to a spokesperson from the gardai, a man aged in his 50s was removed from the water by the Coast Guard.
“He was pronounced deceased at the scene.His body has been removed by Air Ambulance to University Hospital Kerry,” said the spokesperson.
They noted the incident appears to be a tragic accident, and that foul play is not suspected at this time.
