Police renew appeal for witnesses to fatal accident outside Moneymore

Police investigating the fatal road traffic collision on the Moneymore to Cookstown Dual Carriageway on Friday, July 17 have renewed their appeal for witnesses. 65 year-old Victor Wylie died when the tractor he was driving was involved in a collision with a blue coloured Honda 4x4 on the Moneymore bound carriageway at around 9.30am. Constable Rodney Mackenzie said: “We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who noticed a red Ford Transit type van seen in the area around this time. “If you can help please call police in Cookstown or the Collision Investigation Unit in Maydown on the non-emergency number 101.”
