East Antrim DUP MP Sammy Wilson has said Gerry Adams return to politics in Northern Ireland will be 'an injection of poison' to attempts to get the power-sharing Executive up and running again. Mr Wilson said he knew from experience that Mr Adams was very difficult to deal with and negotiate with. He said that Sinn Fein's Northern Leader Leader Michelle O'Neill was taking second place to Mr Adams during meetings and press conferences and that she was installed to allow Mr Adams to return to the Northern Ireland 'stage'. Mr Wilson said that he felt Unionists would be offended by the actions of Sinn Fein since last week's election and that they were talking about 'diplomacy' but acting different following their decision to walk out on talks with Secretary of State James Brokenshire. He made the comments on BBC's 'Talkback' programme this afternoon.
