Derry fitness centre scoops top business award at Northern Ireland Enterprise Awards

An innovative Derry health and fitness centre has scooped the top accolade in the Northern Ireland Enterprise Awards.

Seamus Fox, the Proprietor of FF Fitness in Springtown Industrial Estate, said he was delighted to learn he had won another award at the Northern Ireland Enterprise Awards sponsored by SME News.

Last year, Seamus was awarded Young Businessman of the Year by the Junior Chamber of Commerce and he presented the award to this year’s winner.

FF Fitness recently launched small group flexible personal training sessions which has proved very popular with gym-goers. Even the FF Fitness logo has had an overhaul with the yellow and black gone and replaced with a cool blue, black and white new look.

FF Fitness prides itself on providing the best programmes to cater to their members’ needs to get the results they want.

Seamus, ‘who pioneered the ‘Boot Camp’ industry in Derry’, is pushing the boundaries in his business to ensure he gives the best to his clients, travelling to different countries to explore new ideas and techniques in the fitness industry.

Seamus said that he was very happy to win the award and assure his clients of their ongoing dedication to their health and fitness.

“I was really happy to get the news we had won the award, it came as a real surprise,” he said.

“Someone had nominated us for it a couple of months ago and I had forgotten about it but then I got the email to say we had won the Best Health and Fitness Centre of 2017.

“I was very pleased to get the news because, for us, we are always looking to improve the service, value and quality that we offer our members and be recognised by outside organisations is something massive.”
