'It will be a great relief for residents' - Welcome as new kitchen scheme announced for homes in Creggan area of Derry

SDLP MLA Mark H Durkan has had that he has received confirmation from Apex Housing Association that residents of Rathmore Road in Creggan will benefit from new kitchens being installed later this year. He said “I welcome assurances from Apex that Rathmore Road will benefit from much needed kitchen renovations. "Following procurement, it is expected that works will start later this year. "For those tenants in Rathmore Road it will be of great relief that their homes will finally be brought up to modern standards having waited several years for these improvements. "Everyone has the right to reside in a home fit for purpose and I am glad to see that Apex housing association have listened to their tenants concerns here and are responding positively.”
